Yes, we do - many itineraries include visits to Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and even into East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda), but our primary offering is for South Africa, given that we are based in country and visit many of the lodges we recommend.  South Africa's safari destinations are also some of the most accessible and there is a high standard for service and accommodation.

The best time to travel depends on the season and the activities you have planned - a safari is best in South Africa's winter, whereas Cape Town thrives in summer. Contact us for personalized recommendations based on your travel preferences.

Ellephant works with you to establish a budget and design your trip to fit comfortably within that frame. Safari does have a wild range of pricing (from R8,000 to R45,000 per person per night), and lodges price per person since most are fully inclusive. All of the properties we work with have varying terms and conditions, generally with strict cancellation policies. Ellephant acts in the capacity as a Tour Operator for clients so all bookings made on behalf of clients are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the individual suppliers. We advise clients to inquire about cancellation policies in the booking process and to purchase travel insurance that will cover them in the unlikely event of having to cancel their holiday. It is essential for clients to get 100% cancellation insurance and to read all fine print to policies secured. It is also advisable to check with credit card companies as sometimes cancellation insurance is included when booking travel via a credit card.
